Derailleur replacement tips, with actual on-trail hanger destruction action!
shiggy was not as prepared as he could have been on last week’s ride. Luckily it did not ruin his ride. Do’t let a bent hanger ruin yours.

I opened the back door after a weekend of trailwork and riding.

Just the basics for a short trip: Water jug (always there, and full), white gas camp stove sitting on the tow strap, tiedown straps, Titus carbon 29 fully, small gear bag, riding shoes, work boots, trail tools (hazel hoe, macleod, lopers), hard hat (cowboy style), 4-foot metal straight edge (do not know why it is in there), small step stool, two helmets, stringback gloves (hidden), Wingnut pack, bags with misc supplies, floor pump, mini pump, rubber floor mat, storage boxes undewr the bench seat for spare clothing and gear (saved me as I forgot to pack trail work pants).

For a few weeks now we have been running a global competition to look for people to represent us out in the big wide muddy and dusty world. We love videos, and so we’ve launched it as a video competition.

You produce a vid, tag it on youtube, and we go look. If we love you, we’ll be in touch. Soon. Honest.
This is not about race results, it is about you. All you have to do is this:
1) Create a self-shot 30 second video showcasing why you would make a great brand ambassador
2) Upload your video to YouTube and tag with either #globalteamtitus or #globalteamonone
3) Email your contact details, and a link to your video to rick@titusti.com
Here are the Titus Entries so far – #globalteamtitus

The local mountain bike group builds and maintains a network of trails on private timber lands (their agreement with the land owners prevents me from saying more about the location) The route was scouted and flagged months ago. Seventeen of us cut it in in just a few hours.
